B. Business Activities of a Research Analyst

  • Preparing and publishing research reports based on independent research.

  • Giving objective and unbiased opinions on securities.

  • Sharing recommendations transparently while disclosing any financial interests, if present, in the suggested securities.

  • Offering insights derived from publicly available data and informed observations.

  • Ensuring annual audits are conducted.

C. Services Provided to Investors

  • Client Onboarding – Smooth process to start working with clients.

  • Disclosures –

    • Research reports and recommendations are shared with all clients on an equal basis, without any favoritism.

    • Confidentiality regarding reports is maintained until they are publicly available.

D. Grievance Redressal Mechanism

If you have any complaint or concern, the first step is to reach out to The OptionMarket Research Analyst team. We will aim to resolve your concerns within 30 days.

If your issue remains unresolved, you can escalate it through SEBI’s SCORES portal, which is a centralized complaint redressal system. SEBI forwards cases to the concerned intermediary and allows investors to track the status online.

E. Investor Responsibilities

Do’s

  • Always deal only with SEBI-registered Research Analysts.

  • Verify the Research Analyst’s valid SEBI registration number.

  • You can check the updated list of all SEBI-registered Research Analysts on SEBI’s official website.

  • Carefully read the disclosures mentioned in research reports before investing.

  • Make payments only through official banking channels and keep signed receipts with transaction details.

  • Review the research recommendations before making any investment or subscribing to a public offer.

  • Ask your Research Analyst all necessary questions and clear your queries before following their advice.

  • Report to SEBI if you find any Research Analyst offering assured or guaranteed returns.

Don’ts

  • Never hand over funds to a Research Analyst for investment purposes.

  • Do not get carried away by flashy advertisements or market rumors.

  • Avoid falling for limited-time discounts, incentives, or gifts offered by analysts.

  • Never share your demat or trading account login IDs and passwords with the Research Analyst.
